We are currently seeking a temporary Accounts Payable Assistant in New Hudson, MI

This position is responsible for accessing and enter cash receipts, investigate discrepancies, contact customers with past due invoices, provide copies of invoices; send statements, along with reporting functions.
Hours: Monday – Friday: 8AM – 5PM
Position: Temporary – 6 months
Pay Rate: $21.00/HR.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Processes all AR receipts by using established guidelines and procedures.
- Monitors AR accounts & communicates any discrepancies with customers.
- Issues credit memos for RGA’s and other miscellaneous issues.
- Maintains and reconciles E-Commerce AR files.
- Maintains AR, Accounts Payable & W-9 electronic files.
- Prepares manual monthly deposits for bank book.
- Compiles statistics and prepares various reports for management.
- Cross train on established procedures in order to issue accounts payable check.
- Other duties and responsibilities assigned.
Education: High School Diploma/GED
