We are seeking a Project Coordinator in Novi, MI.

Job Summary:

The Project Coordinator will work on specific projects with other team members and create an agreed-upon timeline and schedule, check in with the team to receive updates on the progress throughout the project’s life, and ensure the initial goal and priorities remain intact. The ideal candidate will perform various administrative tasks including ordering equipment, invoicing customers, and professing payables.

Hours: Monday – Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00/HR

Position: Full Time, Temp-to-hire opportunity

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create purchase orders
  • Create electronic job files in Sage Contractor100 and specialize paper and server files to make all data available to the team
  • Analyze data and draw conclusions to make recommendations
  • Utilize Microsoft Excel to develop and produce reports for project staff and stakeholders
  • Inform teammates of project status on an ongoing basis
  • Follow up with customers and suppliers on an ongoing basis
  • Process project financials including creating budgets, validating vendor invoices, interpreting billable work, and invoicing projects
  • Ensure technical documentation is properly reviewed, maintained, and made available on time

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma
  • Must have experience creating purchase orders and invoicing
  • Knowledgeable with bid specifications and plans/drawings
  • Strong attention to detail and process-oriented thinking
  • Organization and communication skills are a must
  • Experience with Sage Contractor 100 or similar is a plus
  • Experience with AutoCAD drawings and spreadsheets
