IT Support Representative- Remote

Must be available to travel to Wixom, MI to complete the onboarding process to be considered for this position.

The IT Support Representative is responsible for handling front line inbound telephone calls and written or internet-based inquiries from customers regarding the new software products while supporting all MS Window based products. Support includes diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing and computer systems and/or complex software installations.

Equipment such as computer screen, keyboard, phone, webcam will be provided by the company

Hours: Monday-Friday, must be available between 8:00am to 8:00pm. 40 hours

Pay Rate: $17.00/HR

Start Date: ASAP

Position: Full time, Long-Term

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver professional and top-quality customer service to all customers
  • Provides technical support to internal and external clients, including but not limited to field engineers, technicians, clients, sales, trainers and install specialists
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to software and hardware
  • Communicate issues clearly and effectively to clients
  • Document all customer interactions consistently, thoroughly, and free of grammatical errors
  • Contribute to internal knowledge base
  • Perform all other duties as assigned

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High School Degree or equivalent required
  • MUST have reliable internet and the ability to work from home without distractions
  • 1-2 years customer service experience in a call center environment
  • 1-2 years or help desk or technical support experience preferred
  • Knowledge of Windows Operating systems
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot software
  • Ability to install and troubleshoot TCP/IP
